Industry's first-of-its-kind recognition program now boasts nearly 50 electric co-ops nationwide that have completed networks, delivering broadband access to every member

KANSAS CITY, Mo., Sept. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Rural fiber broadband leader Conexon celebrated the newest inductees into its Conexon 100 Club, the industry's first-of-its-kind recognition program that now includes nearly 50 electric cooperatives across 13 states. These progressive cooperatives have achieved the major milestone of delivering fiber broadband access to 100 percent of members.

The 2026 inductees span seven co-ops across three states and reflect the continued momentum of the electric cooperative broadband movement. New members completed their on-system build over the latter half of 2025 and first half of 2026 and include:

  • Canadian Valley Electric Cooperative (Seminole, Oklahoma)
  • Central Florida Electric Cooperative (Chiefland, Florida)
  • Glades Electric Cooperative (Moore Haven, Florida)
  • Grady EMC (Cairo, Georgia)
  • Habersham EMC (Clarkesville, Georgia)
  • Satilla REMC (Alma, Georgia)
  • Suwannee Valley Electric Cooperative (Live Oak, Florida)

The Conexon 100 Club honors cooperatives that have completed fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) deployment within their electric system, fulfilling the same universal service commitment that has guided co-ops for generations. By delivering fiber broadband access to every home and business across their systems, these organizations are helping close the digital divide and creating opportunities for rural communities nationwide.

"The Conexon 100 Club is special in that these co-op partners made a commitment to serve every member, no matter how remote – and followed through on that promise," said Randy Klindt, Conexon Founding Partner and Conexon Connect co-CEO. "Their achievements embody the cooperative principle of leaving no one behind and prove that world-class broadband can reach every corner of rural America. We are proud to be a part of that journey and collective impact."

Since the program's launch in 2024, the Conexon 100 Club has continued to grow as more co-op fiber broadband projects reach completion. As demand for reliable, high-capacity connectivity accelerates, Conexon and its partners remain committed to ensuring rural communities have access to the same world-class broadband infrastructure available in more urban and dense areas. Together, Conexon 100 Club members have transformed connectivity across some of the nation's most rural and hardest-to-reach communities, ensuring homes, farms, schools and businesses have access to the infrastructure necessary to thrive.

Through partnerships with electric cooperatives and community organizations, Conexon and its clients have secured more than $2 billion in federal, state and local funding and designed more than 200,000 miles of fiber network. Today, more than 4 million rural Americans have access to fiber to the home made possible through those partnerships.
